Back in 2014 Warmer embarked on a brand new contract with Trafford Housing Trust. As part of the contract it was proposed that Warmer employ an apprentice from some living with Trafford’s housing stock, who may not have been afforded an opportunity to learn a trade in the past.
After a successful interview process and impressing across the board, Peter Mervyn gained employment with Warmer as a Mechanical Apprentice. Over the last two years, Peter has gone from strength to strength under the nurturing environment at Warmer. In October 2016 he became our most successful apprentice ever after passing all exams to a high level. Due to this success and over-whelming praise for this ‘courteous, hard-working and consistent’ young man, Warmer was ecstatic to offer full-time employment to Peter as a fully-qualified Gas Servicing Engineer.
Peter is described by his co-workers and bosses alike as being keen to impress, reliable and with a real hunger to grow and improve. If this wasn’t evidence enough that he is going to continue to be an asset to the Warmer team, after only three days in his new, fully qualified role, the office received the following customer feedback; “I have never met a lovelier engineer, very professional and polite.”
On the back of his success, Peter is now looking forward to buying a new house with his partner, something that may have been out of reach a few years ago. These achievements go to show that with the right attitude and work ethic, anything is possible.
We at Warmer are proud to have supported Peter throughout his apprenticeship and wish him every success, on what we hope will be a long and rewarding career with us.
Many congratulations Peter!
