Job Title: Sales Surveyor(s)

Location: Knowsley HQ – Northwest

Warmer Energy Services are in the process of launching a new, exciting brand in the UK.  The brand, Simply Warmer, will be aimed at private homeowners who are looking to replace their boiler and/or central heating system.  A TV campaign, supported by other marketing activity will launch in September to grow brand awareness and lead generation.  It’s the perfect time to join our team!

 Job Description:

 Responsibilities:

  • You will be attending warm appointments generated via TV and Web advertising with appointments scheduled via the company’s customer contact center.
  • The role will include conducting home surveys, offering solutions, pricing & finance options and closing the sale. Your job is to help the customer realize the perfect system for their home and budget.
  • Provide the customer with a thorough understanding of the product we will be supplying to them and the reasons why the chosen solution fits their needs best.
  • Explain the process of the job to the customer and the estimated period of disruption.
  • Complete all paperwork in line with company procedures.
  • Flexible working hours, including  potential  evening and weekend working.

Experience:

  • Successful candidates will ideally have a proven sales track record for selling in the home.
  • Field sales, boiler/gas experience is an advantage but not essential as full training is provided.
  • Flexibility with working hours to cover evenings & weekends as required.
  • Full clean UK driving license.
  • CRB full clean required.

 

Job Title: Commercial Engineer

Location: Onsite- Various

Job Description:

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical background for maintenance, covering all gas works, with proven experience in commercial gas plant rooms.
  • Pipe fitting and install experience would be desirable.
  • A full driving license is essential.
  • Must have been successfully assessed in the gas work elements being undertaken.
  • Appropriate knowledge of Health and Safety and environmental requirements, to deliver safe/efficient installs.
  • Competent in carrying out routine servicing, diagnostic and fault finding in the maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
  • Undertake gas work safely in compliance with gas-safe standards.
  • Understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time.

Person Specification:

  • Understand and comply with policies and procedures
  • Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to use initiative when required
  • Ensure that tools and equipment are correctly used and maintained
  • Ensure completion of remedial work, repairs etc. within the timescales defined
  • Qualifications and experience in catering equipment, electrics or air-con would be desirable, but not essential.
  • Carry out general fault finding along with rectification
  • Ensure an excellent level of customer service whilst on site following usual Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Commercial gas qualifications COCN1, CODNCO1 are essential


Job Title: Heating Installation Team (1, 2 or 3 Person)

Location: Various – Northwest Based

Job description:

We have a sub-contracting opportunity for a 1, 2 or 3 person team of Heating Installers – MUST BE Gas Safe qualified Heating Installer with minimum 2 years’ experience within the industry.

As the work is based around the North West area, a Company vehicle will be provided for business use only – therefore at least 1 of the Team must have a driving license (minimal points accepted, but MUST be disclosed as part of application). Typical duties may include full central heating installations, combi swaps and boiler replacements. Must be able to supply ACS Certification at interview.  Rates negotiable based on experience, ability and performance, day rates and price work.

Self-employed people are responsible for paying their own National Insurance Contributions and Tax.



Job Title: Multi-skilled Operative (Builder) 

Location: Northwest Based

Job Description:

We have a sub-contracting opportunity for an operative with Multi Skills and experience of general aspects of the building trade. As the work is based around the North West area, a Company vehicle will be provided for business use only – therefore must have a driving license (minimal points accepted, but MUST be disclosed as part of application).

Typical duties may include installing fixtures and fittings, patch plastering, tiling, basic carpentry and joinery.

Rates negotiable based on experience, ability and performance, day rates and price work.
Self-employed people are responsible for paying their own National Insurance Contributions and Tax.


 

Job Title: Service & Breakdown Engineer(s)

Location: Knowsley HQ – Northwest Based

Job Description:

Key Skills:

  • Minimum NVQ3 / SVQ3 City and Guilds or equivalent in plumbing and heating related occupations
  • Current ACS Gas Qualifications CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1 & CKR1
  • Additional LPG, HTR1 are an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to manage modest paperwork volumes
  • It is essential for applicant to be Gas Safe registered.

Person Spec – Behaviours:

  • Must have previous experience of a similar role in a Social Housing environment carrying out servicing on domestic boilers and appliances.
  • Outstanding attitude towards customer care ensuring a courteous approach is adapted at all times paying particular attention to detail whilst protecting clients’ property.
  • Have a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Strictly adhere to Health and Safety procedures and all relevant Industry Regulations.
  • Have a Professional approach to work and be able to resolve problems quickly and efficiently, with the ability to adapt to situations and proactively work to achieve personal and company goals.
  • Provide guidance, support and any instruction for trainee Engineers who may work within your team when required
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties within the role, which may be allocated from time to time.
  • Full driving license (with a maximum of 6 points).
